1. Application:

PVC Pipe Online Hydro static proof tester are designed to safely test PVC water main pipe lengths in accordance with the requirements of the American Water Works Association FM 1612, Specification C-900. PVC PVC-UH Pipe hydrostatic proof tester, Quick Burst Tester, ANSI/AWWA C900 PVC PVC-UH Pipe, FM 1612.

AWWA C900 water pipe, produced in blue, conforms to the AWWA C900 specification, with gaskets meeting ASTM F477 and joints in compliance with ASTM D3139. This pipe conforms to AWWA C900-07 and FM 1612; Pressure Class 165 psi (DR 25), 235 psi (DR 18)*; 305 psi (DR 14)*; for sizes 4″ – 48″ in diameter.

2. Testing Types:

2.1. Hydrostatic proof test. Only one time testing each pipe for a minimum of 5 seconds for a hydrostatic proof test at 3.2 times the pressure class.

2.2. Quick Burst Test. One time testing every 24 hr during a test time of 60 to 70 seconds.

The equipment is installed in the end of the line catch every pipe and seal the pipe and do a test for seconds at the 2 times or 3.2 times work pressure of the pipe.

They can be customized to meet your required specifications.

3. Main Technical Specifcations: 

3.1 Model PVC-UH/Φ100~305mm/4~7m

Applicable pipe diameter: Φ100~305mm

Test pressure: the maximum test pressure is 8MPa

Pipe end form: one end is flat, one end is sealed

Pressure test tube length: 6m and 4m (can be designed according to user requirements)

Production capacity: less than 1 minute/pc

How it works: Automatic, Manual and Maintenance

 3.2 Model PVC-UH/Φ630~1200mm/6~12m

Applicable pipe diameter: Φ630~1200mm

Test pressure: the maximum test pressure is 3MPa

Pipe end form: one end is flat, one end is sealed

Pressure test tube length: 6~12m (can be designed according to user requirements)

Production capacity: less than 10 minutes/pc
